Ravindra Jadeja continues to impress the fans with his batting performances. In the first leg of the IPL this season Jadeja scored 36 runs in over against the RCB. And now he has absolutely turned the match on its head by scoring 20 runs off 4 balls against the KKR.
The game was in KKR favour when 26 needed of 2 overs and after that the Chennai Super Kings needed 24 off 10 balls. Things were looking grim for CSK until Jadeja joined the party and scored 6, 6, 4, 6 off the next 4 balls. Making it only 4 runs were required in the last over.
Chennai eventually won the match on the last ball with 2 wickets in hand. Sunil Narine bowled a fantastic last over by picking up 2 wickets and keeping things tight. But Jadeja did the damage in the penultimate over. Because of that Chennai managed to cross the line by slightest of margins.
Ravindra Jadeja is proving to be the Most Valuable Player for the Chennai Super Kings. We'll keep an eye on how he fares in the remaining matches.
