CSK are sitting on top of the points table right now. After the miserable performance last year the Men in Yellow are back on track this. CSK have won 7 matches out of 9 and with 14 points and better run rate they are on top of the table.
With almost the same team that played last season, CSK have managed to perform excellently well with their experience and smart play. Moin Ali's addition has certainly helped them as he is performing consistently specially with the bat. Also Bravo is back to his full fitness and looking pretty good with both bat and ball.
Sam Curran is sitting on the bench because others are performing so well, that goes to show how the things are working out for the Chennai Super Kings. Suresh Raina's form is a bit of an issue for CSK but the top order is performing great for CSK. The middle order is also looking pretty solid with Jadeja in the form of his life in IPL, he has played played some fantastic innings this season. The likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf Du Plessis and Ambati Rayudu are also performing well so Raina's lack of form hasn't cost CSK much.
In the bowling department along with Bravo the other bowler are also chipping in like Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur and Josh Hazlewood. With Dhoni's mastermind at work things are looking pretty good for CSK.
