ICL Introduces a ‘Niner’

After the success of last year, ICL is back this season with a new team from Bangladesh. This is not the only new thing they are providing the cricket fans. The ICL is introducing a new exiting and interesting rule. Many people would have seen the similar kind of rule in the Super 8’s series which takes place in varies countries, but this is the first time it is happening in India via ICL.
So what exactly is this rule?
Everyone knows about the ‘six’ rule and how it is given. The ‘niner’ is a part of a six means if a sixer covers a distance of 90 meters or more then that shot will be declared as a ‘niner’. As it is not possible for the on field umpires to see the distance covered by the ball. The decision will be given by the third umpire with the help of sky camera.
Now it will be interesting to watch how the batsman goes about this as they will look to hit long sixes which then will be converted to nines. Then everyone should watch out for 54 run over. It will be a treat for the T20 cricket fans in India and across the world.
