The second phase of IPL is almost here, it's going to start on 19th of September on Sunday. The match itself is a big one Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Mumbai Indians (MI). With CSK leading the points table it will be interesting to see how that match pans out. As we all know MI beat CSK in a close encounter last time they met.
With India's tour of England cut short due to Covid, Indian players are already flying-in in UAE. With some of the England players withdrawing from the IPL, it's going to be fascinating to see their replacements. The South African top order batsman Aiden Markram has already replaced Dawid Malan who is one of the players opted out of the IPL, along with Jonny Bairstow and Chris Woakes.
Last year's IPL was also played in the UAE, so all eyes on how the teams perform under these conditions again. CSK didn't do well last time around but the tables have turned this year for the CSK. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be looking to gain some momentum as they are languishing at the bottom of the points table.
The fans all over the world are eagerly waiting for this biggest T20 league in the World. Hopefully we'll see some quality cricket in the coming times.
