Virat Kohli : The Batting Phenomenon

When Virat Kohli first arrived to the scene back in 2008 everyone thought that this fella have some real temper issues and he won't last too long in the international arena, though he had won a U-19 world cup before making his debut. But he proved everyone wrong and now he is standing tall among the all times greats in the game. He is specially known for his aggressive approach towards the game. His numbers are simply outstanding. He has already scored 25 centuries in ODIs and 12 in Tests, in 171 and 42 games respectively. In ODIs and T20 Internationals he is supposed to be one best these days if not the best. His ability to bat under pressure is something that comes naturally to him and he relishes in pressure situations, that's why it makes it ever more special. He is the most consistent Indian batsman over the last few years and hence the backbone of the Indian batting. Along with his great batting abilities he is also a superb fielder, largely due to his fitness of which he is very conscious about. And ever since MS Dhoni stepped down as Indian Test Captain, Virat Kohli has taken over the place and so far he has done a commendable job. He is flourishing even more as a batsman while captaining the team. Few people criticise Kohli for his aggressive nature, but to me it comes with the passion representing the country, so I've no issues with that. However in Tests he still has a long way to go. But he is in the right track. Presently he is in form of his life and he is cashing in. His captaincy skills are yet to be put on test but I hope for the best and think that Virat will be India's most successful player ever..!!!
